Smart Power brings together more than 250 stakeholders committed to energy and electronics: innovative startups, SMEs, major industrial groups, research laboratories, and academic institutions.

As a recognized competitiveness cluster, Smart Power federates these complementary expertises to accelerate the emergence of collaborative projects with high technological and industrial value.

Its mission: to connect research and industry, structure strategic sectors, and support the development of innovative solutions, in order to meet the major energy and industrial challenges of today and tomorrow.

Through the animation of its ecosystem, project labeling, and support in seeking funding, Smart Power acts as a catalyst for innovation in the service of competitiveness and technological sovereignty.

A competitiveness cluster is not limited to facilitating a network of stakeholders. While a cluster fosters connections and territorial dynamics, a State-recognized cluster provides a structured framework, formalized expertise, and enhanced access to public funding schemes.

Smart Power’s added value is based on two key pillars: its Scientific Council and its labelling process.

A Scientific Council dedicated to the quality of projects

Made up of recognized technical experts, the Scientific Council (SC) is an independent body in charge of analyzing and evaluating projects. It provides scientific, technical, and market expertise to projects, complementing the work of the operational team. Each month, it meets to review applications submitted by project leaders and pre-assessed by the cluster’s project managers.

After the review, project managers share the Scientific Council’s recommendations with companies to strengthen the proposal’s key strengths and identify areas for improvement.

Granted by the Scientific Council, it certifies that the project aligns with the cluster’s strategic roadmap and has undergone a thorough evaluation. This recognition significantly increases the chances of obtaining public funding.
