Objective of the formation

  • Demystify Artificial Intelligence and understand its major challenges.
  • Become aware of the systemic dimension of AI in companies and connect it with management practices and postures.
  • Be able to distinguish the main forms of AI and their application, the primary types of tools, and concrete AI tools currently used for individual and collective productivity.
  • Be able to identify the initial application cases that would bring maximum benefits for the company (automation of certain managerial activities, etc.) and experiment with concrete uses.
  • Know where to start to launch the first AI project within one’s company or team, and how to define the main steps to begin.

Introduction to AI and its use in a professional context (Morning)

Module 1: Introduction – The role of AI in today’s businesses (9:00 – 10:00 a.m.)
The new work environment.
Challenges and opportunities related to AI: addressing concerns and identifying expected benefits for businesses / understanding the implications for one’s organization.
Understanding AI in a professional context.

Module 2: Understanding and using AI – categorization and AI tool ecosystems (10:00 – 11:00 a.m.)
Categorization of tools used in business contexts.
Overview of the current AI ecosystem and its key tools: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Otter.ai, DALL·E, Notion AI, MerciApp, Perplexity, Jasper, etc.
Introduction to automation using no-code tools (Zapier, Make).

Module 3: Putting AI into practice – improving productivity with AI (11:00 – 12:00 p.m.)
Identifying work practices that can be optimized using AI (brainstorming).
Testing use cases to automate tasks and reduce cognitive load.

Module 4: Deploying AI within a team or organization (12:00 – 12:30 p.m.)
Building an AI culture within the company or team: key questions and key dimensions.

Deep dive and professional application (Afternoon)

Module 5: Identifying work practices that can be optimized using AI (1:30 – 2:30 p.m.)
Mapping business activities and describing the value chain.
Defining the role of AI in key activities to optimize performance.

Module 6: Understanding the impact of AI integration on the organization, teams, and management (2:30 – 3:15 p.m.)
Impacts on operational activities and tasks.
Impacts on work organization.
Impacts on team dynamics, skills, and managerial approaches.

Module 7: Selecting and sizing AI initiatives within the organization to support management (3:15 – 4:00 p.m.)
Identifying initiatives.
Sizing initiatives (required changes and resources).
Prioritizing initiatives.
Projecting implementation steps.

Module 8: Beyond tools – building an AI culture within teams and organizations (4:00 – 4:45 p.m.)
Where to start when launching an AI project in a company or team and defining key implementation steps.
Designing ways to measure the impact of AI adoption on productivity.

Module 9: Ethical, environmental, and legal considerations (4:45 – 5:00 p.m.)

Educational resources

  • PowerPoint presentation.
  • Discussions, roundtables.
  • The training is custom-designed to be adapted to the company’s situation, with theoretical and practical contributions corresponding to the participants’ lived experiences.
  • The training alternates theoretical sequences and practical cases to allow participants to progressively appropriate the concepts, methods, and tools used.
  • Illustrations and shared experiences among participants facilitate the integration of the different sequences.

Evaluation methods

  • To understand the expectations and knowledge of participants, a pre-training questionnaire must be completed and submitted to Smart Power at least 7 days before the training.
  • To assess the relevance of the training in relation to participants’ expectations, and as part of a continuous improvement approach, an evaluation and satisfaction questionnaire must be completed and submitted to Smart Power at the end of the training.

Lecturer–researcher – 20 years of experience

A lecturer and researcher in strategy and management at Paris-Saclay University, he works with the consultancy RELIENS (Tours), supporting organizations, executives, and managers as a coach, consultant, and trainer. He accompanies transformation projects and helps stakeholders take effective action in complex environments.
